Vin Santo
- Distilled from the fermented marc of Grechetto,
- Malvasia and Trebbiano.
- Distillation process: discontinuous steam flow.
- Distillation period: within the 5 days following the
- end of alcoholic fermentation.
- Ageing: min. 3 years in barriques of French oak.
- Refinement in bottles: at least 2 years.
- Alcohol content: 42% vol.
Organoleptic characteristics.
Amber-yellow in colour with crystalline transparency. The great
intensity and refined fragrance are distinctive. There are clear
hints of dried fruits, vanilla, spices and tobacco. The woody vein
of the bouquet is exalting. Superbly subtle, smooth and fragrant.
The variety of tastes are in perfect equilibrium. The complex
sensations of taste and aftertaste make this grappa particularly
complete and persistent.
