"The 1990 50&50 is outstanding. The price may be painful, but that is a problem with most limited production wines of this quality. It offers sweet, rich, jammy black-cherry fruit intermixed with aromas of white chocolate, mocha, and vanillin. Medium to full-bodied, dense, smoky, and ostentatious, this lush, fat, exuberantly fleshy wine is delicious to drink, and should continue to hold for 8-9 years. Drink: 1997-2006."
