300% Sangiovese brings together three 100% Sangiovese wines to explore three complementary dimensions of Avignonesi’s work in Montepulciano: Vintage, Time and Place.
Every year, more than 100 hectares of Sangiovese are harvested and vinified separately in over 60 individual lots. Since 2010, this parcel-by-parcel approach has allowed us to deepen our understanding of the relationship between vineyard, soil, vintage and the different expressions of Sangiovese across the territory.
In Grandi Annate 2021 is Vintage. A selection of the finest lots of the year, brought together to express the energy, depth and balance of a remarkable growing season.
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Late Release 2016 is Time. A wine that reflects the value of patience and the opportunity to revisit our choices many years later, discovering how Sangiovese evolves and reveals new dimensions with age.
