2022 vintage

2022 was marked by a long, torrid summer, making it the hottest vintage ever recorded. Timely harvesting and rigorous selection allowed us to bring concentrated, vibrant grapes into the cellar. The result is an enveloping and generous wine, rich in ripe fruit while retaining balance and intensity.

Poggetto di Sopra 2022 is an intense and generous expression of Sangiovese from Montepulciano. On the palate, it is enveloping and inviting, with ripe, concentrated fruit supported by a fine sense of balance. An immediately expressive wine that retains precision and depth.
