Vino Nobile di Montepulciano D.O.C.G.

La Stella, with its vital energy and spontaneity, is a wine of light and shadow that reveals all sides of our beloved Sangiovese. On the nose fruity aromas of pink grapefruit peels combine with hints of almond blossoms and tobacco. On the palate La Stella is striking for its dense and enveloping tannic texture, but at the same time with a voluminous and warm body with an aftertaste of autumn leaves and cocoa powder.

Hand-picked on the first half September.

Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with the use of indigenous yeasts. Approximately 15 days of maceration on the skins.

20 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. AWARDS

The sediments you might find in this wine show that it is made of pure Sangiovese with minimal intervention. The deposit is due to its high content of a natural antioxidant called quercetin, which is perfectly safe. This is not a flaw, it is a characteristic of the pure Sangiovese.​
